    Study Dentistry in Australia




    Dental Schools in Australia provide professional qualifications over a range of specialisations. Australian dental schools must maintain very high standards following established dentistry and dental science practices.




    Adelaide Dentistry
    The program consists of one integrated stream, with coordination of topics within and between years. First year topics include health and disease, preventative dentistry, behavioural consequences of oral diseases, clinical examination and diagnostic procedures.
    Queensland Dentistry
    The Bachelor of Dental Science (BDSc) is a five-year undergraduate program that qualifies a graduate to register as a dentist in all Australian States and New Zealand. The BDSc is awarded at Pass and Honours levels.
    UWA Dentistry
    The Master of Dental Public and Primary Health (MDPPH) is designed to be an appropriate broad-based course of study for a person who wishes to pursue a career in dental public and primary health.
    Griffith Dentistry
    The School of Dentistry and Oral Health is the first new dental school established in Australia in almost 60 years.
    James Cook Dentistry
    The Bachelor of Dental Surgery at James Cook University is a 5 year undergraduate degree that provides you with the knowledge and skills you need to become a competent practitioner of dentistry.
    Melbourne Dentistry
    The degree leads to registration as a general dental practitioner with the Dental Practice Board in Australia and New Zealand, and creates a pathway to enter the MPhil, PhD or Doctor of Clinical Dentistry. With state-of-the-art technologies, the Doctor of Dental Surgery uses new infrastructure, including a 100 seat pre-clinical laboratory and the new Melbourne University Dental Clinic, for advanced clinical teaching.
    Charlse Sturt Dentistry
    CSU's Bachelor of Dental Science is a five-year dentistry degree program, developed in close association with the industry to prepare graduates for a career as a dental practitioner.
